Last week our dear friend, Karoline, graduated from elementary school. I’ve known Karoline since she was two years old when I first met her mom, Barb. Barb is an amazing close friend and she is family to me, my adopted older sister. It has been wonderful watching Barb’s daughters grow up over the years that we’ve known each other. Roger and I still can’t believe how fast the time is going by and how Karoline is now a young lady. To help Karoline celebrate her graduation we happily fussed over her. I did Karoline’s makeup and Roger (or as the girls call him, Rogie) took some photos.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the amazing power of photography to capture special moments in our lives and help the memories live on. I feel so blessed to be doing this magical work. Capturing moments for our clients has inspired me to do more photography work in my own life, to snag a moment that zooms by me.
Congratulations, Karoline, on your graduation. We are so proud of you and so happy for you. You are such a beautiful young lady on the inside and outside. We can’t wait to see what the future will bring you. We love you sooooooooo much.
